How am I not a popular spirit?

I'm well known for hunting people in Himeji, Japan. My story went viral as most people recognize me as a beautiful young maid who fell under the trap of a samurai named Aoyama and ended up killing myself in the well because of a no-win situation.

But wait! my story hasn't ended yet, I came back to look for my justice, whoever heard my counting will be gone sick or even death. Did you know that Aoyama went insane because of me? He deserved it anyway.

Also in 1795, Japan suffered from an infestation by byasa larvae also known as, you guessed it right, "Okiku insect" because it was thought that it was reincarnation of me!

Also, did you know that I inspired the movie, The Ring? I bet not. As the ghost, Sadako's backstory is heavily inspired by me!  Honestly, I'm way prettier than the girl from the movie. Rin Chupeco also wrote a book on me called, "The Girl From The Well" if these things do not give an implication that I'm famous them I don't know what is wrong with you. So don't try to mess with me or else I will visit you tonight!!!!

Why didn't I love Aoyama?

Why did I reject a rich guy like Aoyama? You all must wondered. Why do you want to know about people's past? I mean...... a ghost's past? I don't like sharing my personal problems to others. Uh fine, let me tell you then. That cockroach already had a wife, if he's willing to leave his wife for me, soon enough he would leave me for another woman. Also, who would want to be with a guy who would use dirty trick to get what he want. That is so unfair.  Rich? So what? Is supernatural entities such as me important?

Some might asked that, "Are supernatural entities or the belief in them is a necessity in this modern society?" ......Really? After asking so much about me and you think that my existence is not important? -.- Uhh, let me tell you something human.
